Enrollment of students new to the school district or students enrolling in school for the first time can be done at the appropriate school during August.
Students enrolling in the first grade must be six years old by (before) August 1, and those enrolling in kindergarten must be five years old by (before) August 1. Students enrolling in school for the first time must present a birth certificate. Students formerly enrolled in another school must present two proofs of residency. All students must submit an enrollment sheet each year, and parents are urged to notify the school office of changes in data supplied in order that student personal records may be kept current. It is unlawful for any student to enroll or attend school unless he/she has been immunized against polio, diphtheria, measles, rubella and hepatitis B or unless a physician exemption or a parent exemption has been filed with the school.
2012-13 Residency Clinic Residency clinics for new and returning students, August 1 & 2, 2012 at Center High School from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. both days. Every student must prove residency before enrollment.
