Indian Creek Elementary is a great school with a diverse student population. We focus on achievement for all students. Our goal is that every student will be on or above grade level in the area of reading and math by the end of the school year. All of our teachers are fully certified in the areas they teach. All core subjects are taught in every grade level. Our reading program is the Balanced Literacy approach which encompasses Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop. The Everyday Math program is used for math instruction. It is a rigorous program which emphasizes effective strategies such as routines to build confidence and mastery, use of manipulatives, problem solving, & authentic learning situations. We are a safe school with high academic and behavioral standards and expectations for all students. It is our mission to help produce productive, caring citizens who are life long learners.
