Bryce Shields
Board term ends 2024


Bryce Shields was elected to the Board in April of 2021. Bryce has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with chemistry, instrumental, and vocal performance minors from Missouri State University. He also has a Professional Science Master’s from Colorado State University. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Community and Government Relations Department at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA). He and his wife, Allison, a local attorney, moved to south Kansas City in 2017. Bryce’s grandfather, Bill Brandt, served on the Center Board of Education from 1968 to 1981. Bryce is excited to continue his legacy of advocating for education in south KC.
