Students & families: we know the government shutdown and loss of SNAP benefits may be creating challenges for families in our community. Please know:
⭐ The National School Lunch program is still running. Anyone who has applied and been approved for SNAP will continue to get free breakfast/lunches at school during the government shutdown.
⭐ The Free and Reduced meal application (FRAM) is still available through the Center School District Parent Portal and is still being processed and approved by the district.
⭐ Please reach out to the social workers, counselors, and administrators at your school if you have questions or need assistance.

✔️ Please bring your child’s immunization records.
✔️ Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
✔️ The adult accompanying the child must bring a valid photo ID. If someone other than the parent/guardian is bringing the child, a completed and signed permission acknowledgment form is required before the child can be vaccinated. The form is on the Kansas City Health Department website.
For Kansas City, Missouri residents, vaccinations are free for children who are uninsured, under insured, or eligible for Medicaid.
