Homecoming 2022 football game is tonight at 7pm at Yellowjacket Stadium at Center High School. We will be welcoming students, families, and alumni to join us as we take on Christ Prep on the football field, introduce our Homecoming Royalty at halftime, and celebrate our Center family!!
Some guidelines to remember:
We will be using metal detectors. No backpacks allowed in the stadium.
Admission is $5.00. CHS students with an id (or infinite campus on their phone) get in free.
Center middle and elementary students must be accompanied by an adult..
Gates will close at halftime and no re-entry will be allowed.
We look forward to seeing a great crowd!!
It's time once again for Coffee with the Superintendent! On the third Friday of each month, Dr. Cargile will host an informal coffee for parents and community members interested in sharing ideas about our Center School District. This month's Coffee will be this Friday, September 16th from 7:30 - 8:30am at our new administrative offices on the third floor of the Center Academy for Success building at 8434 Paseo. To kick off the 2022-23 school year, we are going to offer both in-person and virtual options to attend.

Help the people who are helping our homeless families in the Center School District! Serve the World Charities, organizer for the Impact Center Schools program, is raising funds at Chipotle on Tuesday, Sept 6 from 4-8pm. Order online using code NTJWTKT and 33% goes to STW!
Friday Night Football! Center vs. Lincoln Prep. 7pm at Yellowjacket Stadium. CHS students free with id (iCampus on the phone works). Other Center students free with parent. $5 for adults. New security procedures will be used. Be there!
Bombas socks donates a pair of socks for every one they sell. Center will receive over 3,200 pairs of socks on Sept 13 - enough for every student in the District! We need volunteers that afternoon to help repack them for our buildings. To sign up, send an email to rchambers@center.k12.mo.us.

Freshman Night

Freshman Night is an opportunity for parents and students to be introduced to staff, locate lockers, and give students an opportunity to find their classes and become familiar with the Center High School building.
Center High School is excited to host the annual football Jamboree this Friday at CHS. Teams participating are Center, Maryville, William Chrisman, and Raytown South. The format is that each team will run 12 plays on offense and defense. The Jamboree starts at 6pm. The Jamboree is a fund-raising event to support our football programs, so all fans will need to pay to attend. The ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for K-12 students. For the safety of everyone participating, we will be using our new security procedures, which include going through a metal detector and screening bags as needed as fans enter the stadium.
Immunization clinic is this Saturday at Center High School - 10am - 2pm. Great opportunity for your kids to get all their required shots! COVID vaccine too!
Monthly food pantry is this Friday. Volunteers are needed!!!
