Are you registered and ready? A reminder, all new and returning Center School District students must register for the 2025-26 school year. Go to the Registration web page today to complete your registration.

It’s July 1, and online registration is OPEN for the 2025-26 school year! Now is the time to get your students registered and ready for the first day of school.

Here’s what you need to do:
Go to the Registration page on the Center School District website
Follow the registration instructions for new or returning families
Check the Frequently Asked Questions section for more information

We encourage all families to complete registration by August 1, 2025.

2025-26 UPDATE! Beginning August 2025, Center High School will start at 7:45 am and end at 2:45 pm, which is 20 minutes earlier than this year. Center Middle School will start at 7:20 am and end at 2:20 pm, which is 5 minutes earlier. YELC, Elementary, and CAS start times remain the same, see below.

Online registration for the 2024-2025 school year is NOW OPEN. Go to the link below to get started. You will need to provide verification of residency to complete the registration process. Free breakfasts and lunches are available for Center residents Monday - Friday through June 21st at Center High School and Boone Elementary School. See the image below for details.

Save the Date - August 10 - for the annual Back to School Bash! Immunizations, Sports Physicals, Games, Resource Fair and More! 10am to 2pm at Center High School.

Happy Summer! We have finished another amazing year in the Center School District. Congratulations to all of our seniors and their families who graduated this year and best wishes for all your future endeavors. Remember, Once A Yellowjacket, Always A Yellowjacket! For those will be returning for the 2024-2025 school year, online registration will open on July 1st. Please save that date and be sure to get signed up as soon as possible to allow our staff to get your kid(s) setup in the system for the start of the year. School starts on August 19th. The Center Professional Development Committee, the Center Education Foundation, and members of the leadership team toured the district on May 9th to present the building and district level awards for Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year. Seventeen staff members were recognized after a process of peer nominations and voting on building level winners and PDC and community member selection of the district level winners. The members of the Cabinet & Director team at the Center School District are getting a head start on National Principal's Day with gifts for our hard-working building leaders! Dr. Amy Casey is making a delivery to Ms. Melissa Snell and Ms. Karen Snider at Center Elementary!

Center High School Debate team celebrated a wonderful accomplishment today - Cumulative Sweepstakes winner for the KC Parliamentary Debate League! Congrats to all team members and Head Coach Kamela Bates.

Had a great night recognizing CHS student-athletes, past & present, at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 27th. Current athletes signed letters of intent for college and alumni were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Lots more photos to come!!
