The mobile pantry is held the second Friday of every month and is open to anyone who could use a little extra assistance, including staff. Pantry distribution begins around 9:30–10 am, depending on the arrival time of the Harvester’s truck.

CMS chess team competed with over 500 other students on Saturday. Gary Li took 4th place overall for 6th grade and our 6th graders earned 3rd place as a team!! A huge shout out to Mr. Fab our chess coach! Job well done Yellowjackets!

📅 Tuesday, March 17: Jackson County Public Health is bringing student vaccine clinics directly to CMS & CHS to make required immunizations quick and convenient for families.
Students entering 8th or 12th grade may need vaccines for the upcoming school year.
Register by Thursday, March 12 at 8 am using the link sent to families via email.
Getting this done early helps families beat the summer back-to-school rush!

We had the best day with our faculty and staff celebrating National Have Fun at Work Day yesterday!!! Everyday is fun with our Yellowjackets but yesterday was especially fun! We loved how our students cheered for the adults who make CMS the best place!!

Tournament 2 for CMS debaters! A MSHSAA tournament at Antioch MS with over 350 students participating. Gabbi Villa placed 8th in Informative Speaking, and Malcolm Blount & Ana Eaton placed 8th with amazing speaker ranks.
On Wednesday, we hosted a Principal's Honor Roll breakfast for those students with the highest GPAs. We had a record number of students for this prestigious honor!
Students were celebrated at the Honor Roll breakfast on Thursday! So many students!!!!
