Yellowjacket Early Learning Center

Dear YELC Families,

We WELCOME your family to the Yellowjacket Early Learning Center community! We are excited to get to know your preschoolers and feel privileged to help them understand what it means to 'be at school.' The Yellowjacket family includes teachers and staff who have a deep understanding of how best to support young children as they learn and grow. We strive each and every day to help our preschoolers feel safe and increase their ability to work with others, solve problems, and express themselves at school. The children learn actively and in collaboration with their friends and their teachers. They will make new discoveries and have opportunities to revisit cherished learning experiences.

Yellowjacket Early Learning Center is accreddited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This means that we provide a superb, safe, healthy learning environment geared toward young learners. Your child will cooperate with others, listen to stories and participate in storytelling, investigate and think, move about and explore, have nutritious meals and time to rest each and every day at school.

We look so very forward to working with our YELC parents. This is the beginning of your journey as a parent in the Center School District, and we want to make that a positive, effective relationship. Together we will make this a special year of learning for your child.
