The Yellowjacket football team has completed the regular season with an undefeated 9-0 record. They are the Missouri River Valley Conference West champions. Congratulations to the team led by Coach Bryan DeLong on a great regular season.
Looking foward to the postseason, the Yellowjackets are the number 1 seed in District 7 of Class Four for the MSHSAA state tournament. We will have a bye for the first round of the district tournament next Friday and will host the semi-final game at Yellowjacket Stadium on Friday, November 4th at 7pm. If we win that game, we will host the District championship at 7pm on Friday, November 11th, also at 7pm.
If we win the District championship, the State quarterfinals will be held on Saturday November 19th with the location and opponent to be determined.
