Excited to have a visit from Jackson County Executive Frank White to read to kids at Indian Creek Elementary as part of the Missouri Read-In Day! Thank you, Mr. White.

We've gotten requests about streaming tomorrow's basketball game. MSHSAA TV is NOT streaming it. However, our HIVE TV has received permission to stream if we can make it work. We are going to make an attempt to connect to the network at the arena and see if we can do a livestream. We expect to know by around 3pm tomorrow. IF we can make it work, we'll post a link here and on the Center Athletics 58 pages. There will be a charge, but you won't need to pay until we know it is going to work. Stay tuned!

It’s time to celebrate National School Social Work Week! Center School District is fortunate to have the support of eight school social workers, and each of them is committed to making a difference in the Center community. School social workers are trained mental health professionals who bring their unique knowledge and skills to our schools. They are essential to achieving student success, as they are the link between the home, school, and community in providing direct and indirect services to students, families, and school personnel. Their specialized training allows them to assist with mental health concerns, attendance concerns, behavioral concerns, positive behavior support, academic and classroom support, and consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators.
Thanks to the following special individuals serving our students, staff, and families.
Emily Kellerman – Yellowjacket Early Learning Center,
Jenny Morris – Boone Elementary School,
Roslyn Christopher – Center Elementary School,
Megan Fernholz – Indian Creek Elementary School,
Megan Levika – Red Bridge Elementary School,
Michelle Gibson – Center Academy for Success,
