A reminder: the virtual forum for Center School District Board of Education candidates will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 pm.
The forum is free and open to the public. You can register for the virtual candidate forum on the League of Women Voters of Kansas City website. You must register to receive a link to join the forum.

Middle school and high school conferences will continue as planned on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
The mobile pantry is held the second Friday of every month and is open to anyone who could use a little extra assistance, including staff. Pantry distribution begins around 9:30–10 am, depending on the arrival time of the Harvester’s truck.

📅 Tuesday, March 17: Jackson County Public Health is bringing student vaccine clinics directly to CMS & CHS to make required immunizations quick and convenient for families.
Students entering 8th or 12th grade may need vaccines for the upcoming school year.
Register by Thursday, March 12 at 8 am using the link sent to families via email.
Getting this done early helps families beat the summer back-to-school rush!

Students & families: we know the government shutdown and loss of SNAP benefits may be creating challenges for families in our community. Please know:
⭐ The National School Lunch program is still running. Anyone who has applied and been approved for SNAP will continue to get free breakfast/lunches at school during the government shutdown.
⭐ The Free and Reduced meal application (FRAM) is still available through the Center School District Parent Portal and is still being processed and approved by the district.
⭐ Please reach out to the social workers, counselors, and administrators at your school if you have questions or need assistance.
