A partnership, led by Michelle Kruse and including the Center Education Foundation, Harvesters, LINC, and the Center School District, provides a monthly food pickup for members of our community. Statistics for calendar year 2022 - 1,908 families served (over 7,300 individuals), 118,119 pounds of food distributed, and 98,432 meals created. Sometimes weather, late deliveries, and other factors made it hard to pull off, but thanks to the efforts of a bunch of dedicated Yellowjackets, it means the world to families in our community. We are Center Yellowjackets and we do hard things - together!

Chiefs mania is taking over Center Schools!!! KSHB TV, Channel 41, visited Indian Creek Elementary School this morning to film Kindergarten teacher Shelby Curfman as she taught about the letter "J" using pictures and film of Chiefs receiver Ju Ju Smith-Schuster. The story is scheduled to air on KSHB news tomorrow morning at 5, 6, and 7am. Guaranteed to be adorable! Meanwhile, teachers at Boone elementary are showing their Chiefs spirit with themed clothing. Pictured below are Boone teacher Rachel Franks and her team of paraprofessionals!
