Congratulations to Center High School Debaters, Evan Bunch and Laila Kind, for their outstanding results at the Rockhurst Parllimentary Debate competition. They received a 5th place award in the Novice Division. They are looking forward to more great results this season.

Your September Hive Society CSD Employee of the Month is Ms. Kim Jackson!
Here is what Kim's colleagues had to say about her:
Kim is very visible in the community as a parent and staff member. She has held so many of our students when they were babies and is always seeking out the upcoming kids. You can see Kim leading the high school band, helping during book fairs, elementary music programs extraordinaire, participating in the Center 5K, a building leader & spirit champion and supporting the staff as a CEA member. If you ever struggle to remember a past student's name, Kim will know. She will also know their extended family, what they loved as a kid & what they are up to these days.
All 3 of her children are proud Center students. We are truly lucky to have such a dedicated, caring staff member choose Center as her home for all areas of her life.

Our Yellowjacket Ambassador Kick-off is happening on Thursday 9/28 at Center Middle School from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Ambassadors will learn how we will work together to form a strong partnerships between our home and school communities. This partnership will help increase academic achievement, improve parent/teacher relationships and improve the school environment for all students. We hope to see you Thursday evening.
